Hôtel dans le désert
A manned cupola in the desert
Terres et Rivages
Désert 2003
A floating architecture...on the sand. The sand, fluid material, can be assimilated to water. With this idea, Seine Design imagines this untreated concrete hotel, without foundations. The building is stranded in the sand and only a sun protected cupola emerge. People goes down on camelback by large ramps which end in a spiral in the big central space. Here we'll dine, under the stars, in a comfortable bivouac protected from the desert wind. All around, rooms protected by wood gratings are ready for the night.
